SimTech PhD student Fatemeh Ansarieshlaghi was awarded the Best Paper Award at the 16th International Conference on Informatics Control, Automation and Robotics (ICINCO), which took place this year from July 29 to 31 in Prague.
Fatemeh Ansarieshlaghi, who is doing her doctorate at the Institute of Technical and Numerical Mechanics under the direction of Prof. Dr. Peter Eberhard, was initially nominated for the Best Student Paper Award. However, her contribution to "Hybrid Force/Position Control of a Very Flexible Parallel Robot Manipulator in Contact with an Environment" was so well received that it even won the Best Paper Award.
