KIT and Fraunhofer Institute for Mechanics of Materials
The Advisory Board consists of five to nine members who are scientists of international stature in Cluster-related fields and other outstanding academics or industrial leaders from outside. The Advisory Board is appointed by the Rector, meets annually, and supervises the Cluster and SC SimTech. It consults the shared Board of Directors and evaluates its performance in achieving major strategic aspects, such as the research structure, general organizational processes, quality assurance, and recruitment of professors and junior research group leaders.
