Anneli Guthke, Miriam Klopotek, Eric Raidl and Amin Totounferoush hosted the "Research Frontiers Workshop on Scientific Machine Learning: Navigating the Bermuda Triangle of Knowledge Infusion, Explainability , and Scientific Discovery" in Stuttgart, Germany, from Oct 7th to 10th, 2025. 

Funded by SimTech, the German Research Foundation (DFG), the Cluster of Excellence “Machine Learning: New Perspectives for Science” and the Heidelberg Academy of Sciences and Humanities.

Geoff Pettifer (SMEC) and Anneli Guthke chaired the SEG-workshop on "Improving Understanding and Treatment of Uncertainty in Groundwater Science and Management" online on February 11th, 18th, and 25th, 2025.
