Choosing a suitable career is as thrilling as it is challenging. No matter if you are currently doing your master or PhD, we would like to support you in choosing your career path reasonably. And who would be better suited to tell you about different options than the people who already chose them?
With the new event series “Beyond the Thesis: Career Conversations between Science and Industry”, we want to offer exciting insights into career paths in science and industry.
Our inaugural event kicks off on April 25th at the Entrepreneurship Café frei[raum] located at Pfaffenwaldring 45 the University of Stuttgart, Campus Vaihingen. Doors open at 6:00 pm, with discussions commencing at 6:30 pm. Following the panel, we invite you to mingle and connect over refreshments from approximately 7:30 pm onwards.
We invited three researchers in very different fields and roles to debate and discuss, moderated by doctoral researcher Vincent Wagner, the interesting topic of how to shape a career:
- Thanja Lamberts, assistant professor at the Leiden Institute of Chemistry and the Leiden Observatory
- Felix Hildebrand, Senior Expert for AI-supported hybrid modeling for component design at Bosch
- Anneli Guthke, Independent Junior Research Group Leader on Statistical Model-Data Integration in SimTech
Join us for an evening of enlightening conversations and invaluable networking opportunities as you chart your course toward a fulfilling career. The event will be held in English and is specifically not restricted to SimTech researchers.
