Collaboration & Transfer

Collaboration is at the heart of a large interdisciplinary research endeavor like the Cluster. The Cluster draws PIs from seven of the University’s ten faculties and most of them are also PIs in eight DFG Collaborative Research Centers and International Research Training Groups, as well as in numerous interdisciplinary projects supported by other funding agencies.

The Cluster fosters collaboration within and beyond the University on all levels essential for the pursuit of its scientific program and for its supporting structures. It also takes advantage of the University’s rich scientific and industrial environment and its national and international partner network.
