From 30 May until 2 June the GAMM Annual Meeting 2023 will take place in Dresden. Hosted by Technische Universität Dresden, the Annual Meeting of GAMM 2023 in Dresden will also celebrate the 100th anniversary of the GAMM association.
One of the highlights will be the public lecture of former SimTech Director Wolfgang Ehlers. It will be held on Thursday, June 1, at 8 p.m. in the Audimax. The lecture will cover the 100-year history of GAMM from its beginnings in the 1920s to the present day and will highlight the scientific achievements to which GAMM and its members have contributed. The event will be accompanied by a musical performance by musicians of the Sächsische Staatskapelle Dresden.
Apart from that several SimTech researchers from various career levels will contribute to the conference program. Amongst them are Tim Ricken and Oliver Röhrle with their DFG Priority Program DFG-SPP 2311 “Robuste Kopplung kontinuumsbiomechanischer in silico Modelle für aktive biologische Systeme als Vorstufe klinischer Applikationen – Co-Design von Modellierung, Numerik und Nutzbarkeit”, Peter Eberhard with his SPP 2353 “Daring More Intelligence – Design Assistants in Mechanics and Dynamics” as well as Marc-André Keip, Andrea Ianelli, Lena Lambers, Luis Mandl, Saneth Keshav, Felix Fritzen, Jörg Fehr, Benjamin Unger; Holger Steeb and many others.
