The GAMM Annual Meeting 2022 will be hosted by RWTH Aachen University and will take place from 15 to 19 August 2022 in Aachen.
SimTech scientists are very prominently represented there, both by a plenary lecture from Claus-Dieter Munz in the field of mechanics and in the organization of some of the meeting’s sections. Among them are Marc-André Keip (S06 - Material modelling solid mechanics), Holger Steeb (S07 - Coupled problems) and Benjamin Unger (S20 – Dynamics and control).
Furthermore, Peter Eberhard will host a session on the DFG Priority Programme 1897 “Calm, Smooth and Smart – Novel Approaches for Influencing Vibrations by Means of Deliberately Introduced Dissipation” that he coordinates.
In addition, the University of Stuttgart has a GAMM student chapter, which is currently led by SimTech PhD student Lena Lambers.
