January 8, 2024 / mm

Jan Range, Research Data Software Engineer in SimTech and PhD Researcher at the Institute of Biochemistry and Technical Biochemistry, will present EasyReview, a Dataverse curation tool implemented in React at the January meeting of the Dataverse UI Components Working Group on January 22, 2024 from 9 to 10 a.m.

EasyReview is a website tool designed to help review datasets stored in Dataverse. Datasets are an important part of RDM to guarantee high quality date. EasyReview breaks down the review process by looking at each field of the dataset individually. Reviewers can be easily invited to join the review through a provided link, and can share their feedback with others involved in the process.

The Dataverse Project is an open source web application to share, preserve, cite, explore, and analyze research data. It facilitates making data available to others, and allows you to replicate others' work more easily. Researchers, journals, data authors, publishers, data distributors, and affiliated institutions all receive academic credit and web visibility. During the regular meetings between the Dataverse Team and the Dataverse Community which take place every other week, the Dataverse Team presents updates concerning Dataverse Software and enhances discussions about new features and changes. The community is invited to give feedback and to proactively present new tools and developments.
