The Stuttgart Center for Simulation Science has elected its Gender Equality Officer and its Diversity Officer. Since there were only two candidates, the election management decided to vote Jun.-Prof. Dr. Michael Sedlmair from the Institute for Visualization and Interactive Systems as its new Gender Equality Officer and Diversity Officer. Jun.-Prof. Dr. Benedikt Ehinger from the Institute for Visualization and Interactive Systems is the deputy Gender Equality Officer and Diversity Officer. Their terms of office run from December 10th, 2020 to September 30th, 2023.
Lukas Brencher, Sebastian Reuschen and Isabell Wochner were elected as the PhD and student representatives of SC SimTech.
