SimTech's Advisory Board member Jan S. Hesthaven has been elected President of Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). In the name of all of the SimTech Cluster and its board of directors, we would like to congratulate him cordially to this great success and honor!

Presently, the Danish mathematician is Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs of the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne in Switzerland (EPFL, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne), one of the leading research and education institutions worldwide. In SimTech, he has been contributing his expertise to the Advisory Board since 2021.
