The upcoming talk in the quantum computing lecture series will be held on Wednesday, 31 May at 1pm in the seminar room 8.109 (8th floor of Pfaffenwaldring 55).
We are pleased to have Daniel Pranjic from the Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Engineering (IAO) in Stuttgart as a speaker. The title of his talk is "Quantum Techniques for Machine Learning".
As a subarea of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning is relevant for a large number of application areas, including in the industrial context. Artificial Systems act according to the algorithms used. By incorporating selected methods of Quantum Mechanics, these learning processes can be accelerated and optimized.
