Uni & Care Network

The Uni & Care Network is not target group-specific, but is designed for all employees and students with care responsibilities or future care needs. At the meetings, general and university-specific information regarding rights and flexibilization offers in the area of care, but also the need for assistance of relatives without a care level are discussed in particular. 

Science & Family Network

Researchers with family or family plans meet over lunch and discuss currently relevant topics. In particular, parental leave during qualification phases, re-entry into research projects and the actual compatibility of a scientific career with family life are topics of lively discussion. The network, with approximately five to ten participants, meets every first Monday of the month for lunch at the Vaihingen campus. Please let yourself be added to the internal distribution list (write an e-mail to uniundfamilie@uni-stuttgart.de).

Administration & Family Network

The Administration & Family Network is intended to specifically address the needs of employees in the administration. Topics that were discussed included opportunities for keeping in touch and returning to work, the prerequisites for teleworking, more flexible working hours, the university as an attractive employer, and the duty of care of managers.
