Within the Cluster of Excellence EXC 2075 "Data-Integrated Simulation Science" the Industrial Consortium SimTech e. V. is serving as the platform for the direct exchange with experienced industrial partners. Together with the Robert Bosch GmbH, we organize the 1st "Maths meets Industry" workshop that takes place on October 5 - 6 at the University of Stuttgart.
The main purpose is a mutual exchange of results in up-to-date research projects and the identification of joint research topics related to fundamental mathematical and computational methods in the broadest sense. The program includes but is not restricted to topics like
- Uncertainty quantification and computational statistics
- Data-Integrated Numerical Simulation and high-performance computing
- Model-order reduction and surrogate modelling
- Machine learning tools for simulation
Participants
- Students of the University of Stuttgart
- (Post)Doctoral researchers and members of the GS SimTech or affiliated with Robert Bosch GmbH
- Everyone interested in networking and exchange
Participating (post)doctoral researchers can present their up-do-date research in form of a science slam (8 mins talk + 2 mins questions).
