What is a research cluster? How does a research cluster work and what possibilities does it offer?

These and other questions will be discussed on 9 October from 2pm to 3pm in the webinar "German Research Clusters".

The panelists include Dr. Klaus Wehrberger from the DFG, Prof. Dr. Ute Fendler from the Cluster of Excellence "African Multiple" (University of Bayreuth) and Dr. Monika Edith Schulz from the Cluster of Excellence "Living, Adaptive and Energy-autonomous Materials Systems" (University of Freiburg) as well as Prof. Dr. Johannes Kästner, member of the board of directors of the Cluster of Excellence "Data-Integrated Simulation Science".

The webinar, which is organised and moderated by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), is part of the BMBF's "Research in Germany" initiative to inform international young scientists about the German research landscape.

The webinar will be held in English and is free of charge.
