The in-person workshop will take place from May 21-24, 2024 at the UniDistance Suisse and addresses recent progress on dissipativity in systems and control, which includes (but is not limited to):
- the exploitation of dissipative and port-Hamiltonian system structures in control simulation and optimization of dissipative systems,
- energy-based modeling concepts,
- structure-preserving model reduction methods, and
- data-driven control methods.
Abstracts – either for a talk or a poster – can be submitted until March 1, 2024.
The workshops is organized by
- Benjamin Unger, Junior Research Group Leader in SimTech (U Stuttgart),
- Matthias Voigt (UniDistance Suisse),
- Timm Faulwasser (TU Dortmund)
The workshop itself will be free of charge, but participants may be asked to pay a small fee for coffee breaks. Board and lodging will have to be covered by each participant individually.
