Michael Sedlmair, professor for Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality at the Visualization Research Center of the University of Stuttgart (VISUS), Participating Researcher in SimTech and Project Network Coordinator of PN 7, ranks first among one hundred researchers on the 2022 AI 2000 List of Most Influential Researchers in Visualization, making him the most impactful scholar in the field of visualization between 2012 and 2021.
Also among the one hundred most influential scholars in the subfield of visualization is VISUS co-director and SimTech PI Daniel Weiskopf (place 91). He is therefore awarded an AI 2000 Most Influential Scholar Honorable Mention.
