Connecting Simulation Science across the University of Stuttgart
The Stuttgart Center for Simulation Science (SC SimTech) is the University of Stuttgart’s central platform for interdisciplinary Simulation Science. As a faculty-like center, it connects researchers and expertise across institutes and faculties and provides a long-term institutional framework for research, education and collaboration in the field.
Simulation Science at Stuttgart is inherently interdisciplinary. Researchers from mathematics, computer science, engineering, the natural sciences and data science contribute different methods and perspectives to understanding, modelling and predicting complex systems. SimTech brings these perspectives together and creates opportunities for new scientific approaches and collaborative research.
The Center also connects research with doctoral education, the Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes in Simulation Technology, research data and software, scientific infrastructure and international collaboration.
