Why it is important
You play a central role in public communication about science alongside professional communicators and journalists. If you want to reach people outside your scientific community, you have to get to the heart of your research topics in a targeted and generally understandable way. Therefore we organized an excellent workshop series for you where you can train your communication skills.
The first and second workshop days are together with Véro Mischitz. She has been working as a freelance comic artist specializing in science communication for almost 10 years. She designs and draws visual stories about scientific topics, helping organizations, scientists and universities to present their content in an understandable and appealing way.
Our lecturer for the third session, Lorenz Adlung, holds a doctorate in systems biology, has a passion for science slam and knows exactly how to use Social Media to present research in an audience-oriented way.
Don't miss your chance to take part in our workshop series! Secure your spot now and let your communication skills rise to new heights! Hurry, there are only a limited number of spots available.
By attending all three sessions of the workshop, you receive a certificate of attendance at the end of the course, and additionally it counts as 1 GS Seminar.
