SimTech and GS-IMTR Welcome Guest Professor Adit Singh

October 7, 2025

SimTech and the Graduate School Intelligent Methods for Test and Reliability (GS-IMTR) are delighted to welcome Professor Adit Singh from Auburn University, USA, as a Guest Professor in Stuttgart.

Professor Singh is internationally recognized as one of the leading experts in test methods and reliability. His research has had a profound impact on the field, spanning from the modeling and simulation of failure mechanisms in advanced nanoscale integrated circuits to the systematic analysis of circuit failure data in semiconductor manufacturing.

Holding the prestigious Godbold Endowed Chair in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Auburn University, Professor Singh has co-authored over 300 scientific publications, received four best paper awards, and holds five patents. He has delivered more than a dozen keynote talks at major international conferences and is a Life Fellow of the IEEE.

During his stay in Stuttgart, Professor Singh will pursue innovative research on cross-layer approaches for system-level test, integrating simulation and data analysis – a topic that perfectly aligns with the missions of both SimTech and GS-IMTR. In addition, he will offer advanced courses on test and reliability, designed primarily for GS-IMTR and SimTech members but open to all interested students and researchers in Stuttgart.
