Jan Range, Research Data Software Engineer in SimTech and Doctoral Researcher at the Institute of Biochemistry and Technical Biochemistry, will be presenting pyDataverse-Generator, an automated approach using the OpenAPI specification to dynamically generate pyDataverse's core including URL endpoints, parameters, payload, and response schemes.
Changes to the upstream software (Dataverse, DaRUS) have a direct impact. This update will be relevant for SimTech for the programmatic integration of DaRUS, the Data Repository of the University of Stuttgart, for example for uploads and downloads.
The SimTech RDM team is now involved in the maintenance of the pyDataverse software. The Dataverse Project is an open source web application to share, preserve, cite, explore, and analyze research data. It facilitates making data available to others, and allows you to replicate others' work more easily. The Dataverse Project is being developed at Harvard's Institute for Quantitative Social Science (IQSS), along with many collaborators and contributors worldwide.
