Supporting Young Talents

Junior Academy

The SimTech Junior Academy organizes exciting events for high school students to demonstrate what simulation technologies have to offer.

Getting a Head Start…

Although working with simulation technologies offers exciting applications and topics, many first-year students are unfamiliar with it. That’s why the SimTech Junior Academy aims to give students in the last two years of high school a first impression of our research area.

In the SimTech Junior Academy, young talents search independently for solutions to tricky tasks. This is how we aim to enhance the students’ creativity and logical thinking skills, and show them new perspectives in the field of simulation technologies.

Student Competition PlaNeT

As part of the endeavour to support young talents, the SimTech Junior Academy has been organizing the school competition PlaNeT , aimed at solving problems in natural sciences and technology, since 2015.

The team coming up with the best solution for our challenging modeling task receives a cash prize – and is certainly also interested in the elite programme Simulation Technology.
